This is a major decision to make, so before you sign a car or home mortgage (or before you swipe that credit card or sign any payday loan) consider going in prayer to ask God to show you what the Bible says about debt. You need to discover His point of view.
It is a major role He likes to do for you. You M-A-T-T-E-R to God. Everything you need, He knows before you do, and in Matthew 6:8 He makes that perfectly clear. BEFORE Jesus taught us how we should pray, He affirms that our Father will meet every need.
Before moving on, allow me to introduce you to this short online course about financial freedom. It is our flagship course on the Wealth With Purpose website.
The Financial Freedom Express course is designed to give you one key financial planning lesson each day in a short (3-7 minute video) for the next month that will get you started on the journey to financial freedom. As Jesus himself said, when you know the truth, it will set your free!
We pray that after you’re through with the course you will discover what the Bible says about debt. AND what you can do to help other people as they journey life and their own debts.
Do not let your debt immobilize you. There’s always a first step to take and this video can help. Listen to the 2 points to nudge you in the right direction. I pray this helps you understand your debt situation better so we can take action away from debt reliance and into faith.
