The prayerful generous Christian should avoid giving on impulse. As we believe that every money decision is a spiritual decision, we, therefore, need to seek God’s wisdom, especially in giving opportunities. God’s role is key to His faithful cycle of provisions in our life. Remember that generosity doesn’t only benefit the object of your generosity… but largely, and in God’s eyes… it benefits you!

In prayer, ask God:

  • Why do you need to give (the purpose)
  • Who do you give it to (the object of our giving)
  • What is God’s goal for you, what is He teaching you

The prayerful generous Christian is a Kingdom builder. He seeks to play an active part in God’s Kingdom plan. Please check out our virtual course on generosity:

  • Why does money pre-occupy our minds? Posted on: December 14, 2021
When we give in to worry and anxiety because of the little we have today, we naturally lose focus on God's faithfulness and His promise to provide, heal, and bless in times of need. As a result, we miss His peace and ultimately we let go of His authority over our lives and our future. God provides our daily bread, let our minds be with God, for God and in God.

These are fear traps designed to keep your eyes away from our heavenly Provider. Stand firm on God’s promises, your solid foundation. God is faithful and He delivers on time.
  • God vs. money : why the Bible talks about money Posted on: December 10, 2021
One of the greatest barriers that are holding people away from God is money. When we choose money or material things over God, temporal things over eternal things, we actually choose what really impacts us. Our attitude towards money directly impacts our attitude towards God. No wonder the Bible has 2,350 verses about money and possessions.
