The prayerful generous Christian should avoid giving on impulse. As we believe that every money decision is a spiritual decision, we, therefore, need to seek God’s wisdom, especially in giving opportunities. God’s role is key to His faithful cycle of provisions in our life. Remember that generosity doesn’t only benefit the object of your generosity… but largely, and in God’s eyes… it benefits you!

In prayer, ask God:

  • Why do you need to give (the purpose)
  • Who do you give it to (the object of our giving)
  • What is God’s goal for you, what is He teaching you

The prayerful generous Christian is a Kingdom builder. He seeks to play an active part in God’s Kingdom plan. Please check out our virtual course on generosity:

  • Seriously, are government lockdowns working? Posted on: December 6, 2021
Alex answers a few questions sent via the Ask Alex at 20Twenty radio program. An interesting question was about pandemic lockdowns. Government-mandated lockdowns have become the standard policy to prevent the spread of COVID, but it's also causing huge hardships for their citizens. We all need to holistically re-evaluate, discuss and debate how lockdowns are executed and how they affect society, business, families, and ultimately... life.
  • Will God provide through the lockdowns? Posted on: December 17, 2021
God's character has never changed. He is STILL our loving Father. He massively desires to provide for us. In every season of our lives, He has been proven faithful. Will anything hinder God?  Remember, God is above our circumstances, even in lockdowns. He knows how to provide for us, He can, and He will.

Honesty. Own up to committing a judgement error. Pray for wisdom. Wait a while to reflect on 2021 with all the money mistakes committed. Honesty is a heart issue between you and God, and is critical to all you do, especially with your finances. Remember, your honesty opens the doors to many God-given opportunities.
  • Do you have a fear of losing money? Or losing out on other things? Posted on: October 27, 2021
The devil’s lies are working when you begin to believe that God is far from providing what you need today. Fear of failure, paying the bills, food on the table, weakening health, or losing a job! These are fear traps designed to keep your eyes away from our heavenly Provider. Stand firm on God’s promises, your solid foundation. God is faithful and He delivers on time.
  • How does greed wear down my soul? Posted on: October 29, 2021
God’s provisions are certain. He’s committed to giving what you need, every day. HE says all it takes is FAITH.  Greed, on the other hand, omits this truth because the enemy’s goal is to keep you from looking up in faith and wear you down with worry that God will forget to provide.
