Every believer is called to be generous. When an inner voice tells you to “give”, and regardless of your situation, that voice urges you to “give anyway”. That is God’s voice, and He loves it when you start paying attention.

When parents see their child taking their first few steps, multiply it by a million, that’s how God feels! He loves it when you take those first few steps to living a generous life. He can bless you more, do more, through you WHEN you give more.

GIVE TO THE POOR. In Psalms 34:6, “God hears when the poor cries and saves him out of trouble”. Be His hands that help the poor.

As a result, we miss His peace and ultimately we let go of His authority over our lives and our future. God provides our daily bread, let our minds be with God, for God and in God.

A majority of us have an income to manage. How we spend it, keep it, how we share it or multiply it... As all good things come from God, similarly, our income is a trust given to us by God. We, therefore, need to know what God wants us to do with it. Align our income with the one who REALLY owns it... GOD.

Giving, whether it’s a tithe or not, is ultimately a heart issue. The Bible supports the idea that we need to give generously to those who minister to us, meaning the church. Jesus spoke about tithing in the New Testament as well, and He teaches us a huge lesson on generosity. Have a listen to this podcast about Tithing.

Throughout the Bible, we see the concept of idolatry as worshipping a false god. Today, ANYTHING that takes our focus away from our one true God has become an idol. Your bank accounts, your properties, your car… these are today’s gods that take the focus away from God. Listen to today’s podcast to know how money, oftentimes, replace God in our lives.
