Our world is in a lot of pain over the 2-year pandemic, the crypto downfall trends and other economic issues. Millions need help, and these days we can do so much good work, even with a click of the mouse or a tap on our mobile phones. In a span of seconds, we can play a role in someone’s life on the other side of the planet! As Christians, let’s ask God “How much of my budget should go to charity?”. His answer might surprise you, so brace yourself.

Obedience and sacrifice

In prayer, God will impress where you need to give and by how much. We do not have an exact value, BUT God is known for extravagant generosity. He does not give out of excess, He gives regardless. He gives sacrificially… everything He can.  John 3:16 displays His extravagant giving. HE GAVE His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to the world.

We know that everything we have is God’s, so as His stewards He calls us to be generous with what He’s given us. Pray and ask God to help you see the need, and to help you fill the need of the world.
