One of the greatest barriers that are holding people away from God is money. It is always your time with God vs. money. When we choose money or material things over God, temporal things over eternal things, we actually choose what really impacts us. It is really a choice between God vs. money. Do you know that our attitude towards money directly impacts our attitude towards God? No wonder the Bible has 2,350 verses about money and possessions, a wealth of principles, insights and stories.

OUR REFLECTIONS

God massively cares about how our character is like with much money, with little money or without. Does our character reflect a godly heart? A heart full of gratitude? Envy, despair? Anxiety?

Matthew 25:15 says “…He called his servants and ENTRUSTED His money to them while He was gone. He gave five bags of silver to one, two bags of silver to another, and one bag of silver to the last – dividing it IN PROPORTION TO THEIR ABILITIES.”

We know the servant who was given five, returned ten. The one who received two, returned four. And the last who received 1… in fear of losing more… returned one.

The question now is, what do you do with what God has given you? Do you spend it all? Grow it? or keep it? What does God want you to do with it? Have you asked God?
