Dealing with fear
Back into His arms, I think this is the main role we need to play ourselves into when dealing with fear. We find it in numerous situations in the Bible where fear draws people back to God. When people’s fear rise, we see them slamming into the reality of helplessness. Is it really Game Over? Hardly. Up to this day, He still sits on the throne!
In today’s post-pandemic era, we find thousands of families dealing with fear on a daily basis. We have created this online course to help build your faith and your marriage during financially tough times.
Marriage is the most amazing and challenging relationship we have in our lives! Many couples believe they would have a better marriage if their money issues would just go away. The truth is, we need to apply biblical principles to both our marriage and our finances – it is the only sure cure for financial concerns! This course will help you to manage money as a couple the way God intended for you.
Pressure causes change
I don’t know about you, but when something is about to happen in my life, I feel the pressure all over. Anxiety then kicks into second gear. Uncertainty follows third. And it all rallies to fear by the fourth gear. These gears change your life drastically, and it matters where the steering wheel points to. When dealing with fear, do you steer your heart away from God or towards God?
Dealing with fear
Jesus teaches us to be strong. Things in your life WILL happen. It is not a surprise why the Bible has about 365 verses that admonish the reader to FEAR NOT! He has overcome the world, Jesus says in John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
In this episode, Alex interviews Paul Ryan from Ellel Ministries on the topic of fear – Why it impacts so many of us and what we can do to be free from it.
