Remembering is the first step

Think about it: how can our finances be cursed when we’re partnering with God?

Curses creep in when we forget about Him and try to do everything on our own.

When we lose sight of God, we lose sight of His blessing.

But when we put Him first and follow His guidance, we open the door to amazing possibilities!

Let’s take a moment to pray:

Dear Lord, we are sorry for neglecting to acknowledge Your presence in our workplace. We do forget that You are the source of all the skills, talents, and abilities we use to produce wealth. Apart from You, Lord, we are truly nothing. Please help us become aware of Your presence in our workplace every day. Amen.

Trusting God, breaks cursed finances

Consider the following responses as you meditate on God’s words and seek His wisdom concerning the business.

Proverbs 3:5-6  “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Yield your ideas and plans to Him – let Him take over. He knows you’ve thought your plans out and they may all be good. But while He likes to hear what’s on your mind, He loves to lead you to the way of the best possible business outcome. His ultimate goal has eternal benefits and He will use the business in this priority order:

• Glorify His name
• Lead souls to heaven
• Bless those in need

Luke 6:38 “give, and it will be given to you. Good measure pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

Imitate His generosity, give. Begin sowing, praying & giving when God and where God tells you to. You will soon find more to give as God begins to pour His resources and use you as a conduit of His blessings for other people.

Matthew 5:16 “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Be His light. The world is a dark, dark place. One act of kindness illuminates the heart, and fills it with gratitude towards God.

His ways are far better

And here’s the best part: He’s always there for us, no matter what!

• Need rescuing from trouble? Psalm 34:17-18 promises He hears our cries and delivers us.
• Feeling overwhelmed and stressed? 2 Thessalonians 3:16 assures us He gives peace that passes all understanding.
• Worried about facing challenges alone? John 14:18 reminds us He will never leave us as orphans.

With God as our CEO, we can face any financial challenge with confidence and peace!
